Brooklyn Beckham showers wife Nicola Peltz in kisses in loved-up social media return

Brooklyn Beckham has returned to social media with wife Nicola Peltz just over a week since taking aim at his ‘performative’ parents.
After a year of rumours that the 26-year-old eldest son of former footballer David Beckham, 50, and Spice Girl-turned fashion designer Victoria, 51, had distanced himself from his family due to a fallout, he dropped a jaw-dropping 800-word statement on social media.
The bombshell post claimed he’d ‘been controlled’ by his parents ‘for most of his life’, also claiming they’d tried to ‘ruin’ his relationship with wife Nicola Peltz, 31.
‘My wife and I do not want a life shaped by image, press or manipulation. All we want [is] peace, privacy, and happiness for us and our future family,’ he concluded the statement.

Although his family are yet to comment publicly on Brooklyn’s brutal takedown, he’s now returned to social media.
Appearing in a TikTok shared by Nicola, the couple are shown in a bathroom holding one of their dogs and cuddling it, before the clip then cuts to them standing closer to the camera and Brooklyn kissing his wife’s cheek.
I love you @Brooklyn Beckham,’ the actress and socialite captioned the post, which she posted along with Coldplay’s hit song Yellow.
The video also showed a series of clips of the couple – including them enjoying a romantic dinner, walking their dogs Label and Lamb, and Nicola posing in front of the camera walking through their house and garden.
The video then ended with the couple hugging.
After posting that, Nicola then went on to share a video on Instagram of a dog from the ILoveRescue page, commenting: ‘We saved this beautiful girl and her sister today if you’re interested in making her your daughter.’
Although Nicola has largely remained silent on the Beckham family drama, a few weeks ago she deleted all evidence of her in-laws off her social media accounts.
Earlier this month Nicola took down a picture that she’d previously shared to mark Victoria’s 50th birthday in 2024.
‘Happy birthday to my beautiful mil [mother-in-law] Victoria Beckham. I love you so much and love being your dance partner forever,’ she wrote at the time.
Nicola’s most recent post comes hours after the Beckham family put on a united front to support Victoria as she became a Knight of the Order of Arts and Letters.
Chevalière de l’Ordre des Arts et des Lettres is a prestigious honour awarded by the French government to individuals who have ‘made significant contributions to the fields of arts, literature, and culture – both in their own country and internationally.’
Out in force to celebrate the achievement, Victoria and David were accompanied by sons Romeo, 23, and Cruz, 20, as well as their respective girlfriends Kim Turnbull, 24, and Jackie Apostel, 30. Meanwhile the Beckham’s daughter Harper, 14, also joined them.
In his statement, Brooklyn said that he’d ‘been silent for years and made every effort to keep these matters private’.
‘Unfortunately, my parents and their team have continued to go to the press, leaving me with no choice but to speak for myself and tell the truth about only some of the lies that have been printed,’ he wrote.
‘I do not want to reconcile with my family. I’m not being controlled, I’m standing up for myself for the first time in my life.
‘For my entire life, my parents have controlled narratives in the press about our family. The performative social media posts, family events and inauthentic relationships have been a fixture of the life I was born into. Recently, I have seen with my own eyes the lengths that they’ll go through to place countless lies in the media, mostly at the expense of innocent people, to preserve their own facade. But I believe the truth always comes out.’
He went on to claim his family ‘values public promotion and endorsements above all else’. ‘Brand Beckham comes first. Family “love” is decided by how much you post on social media, or how quickly you drop everything to show up and pose for a family photo opp, even if it’s at the expense of our professional obligations.
Concluding his statement, Brooklyn said that since ‘stepping away’ from his family, his anxiety had ‘disappeared’ and he now ‘woke up every morning grateful for the life I chose and have found peace and relief’.
